About Tamsui Wisteria Garden - Location 2, Shuiyuan
§ The tour bus cannot reach the garden. Tour operators are advised to inquire via Facebook private message.
§ If you plan to drive to the garden, please be sure to read the traffic information below.
§ The Location 2 garden covers a total area of approximately 8,000 ping (approximately 3,333 square meters) and is planted with about 1,000 Japanese wisteria trees.
§ The garden is expected to bloom and open to the public around March 20 to April 10 each year.
No reservation is required to visit Shuiyuan garden. No meals or afternoon tea are provided inside; only flower viewing is available.
§ You can bring your own food and picnics into the garden. A cleaning fee of NT$50 will be charged for bringing pets.
Cosplay and wedding photoshoots are available within the garden. Please message us on Facebook to book your wedding photoshoot.
The following items are prohibited:
Items prohibited from entering the garden: ladders, height-raising objects, aluminum ladders, and dangerous items.
Prohibited behaviors in the garden: touching or pulling plants, crossing fences, disturbing others, and holding umbrellas under the wisteria trellis.

§ Motorcycle Parking: There are approximately 150 parking spaces within the garden. (Most convenient for motorcyclists)
§ Car Parking: Residents near the park are provided with approximately 80 paid parking spaces (open only on sunny days).
If the parking lot is full, you will need to park near Tianyuan Temple and walk to Location 2, which takes about 18-20 minutes.
If you cannot walk for long, you can take a shared taxi (NT$50 per person one way, round trip is available).

Public transportation information

Community bus: F102, get off at Kouhuzi Bridge(口湖子橋) (departures from Tamsui Station are infrequent).

Bus (take the MRT to Tamsui Station): Routes 866, 875, 876, 877, and the Tianyuan Temple cherry blossom viewing shuttle bus.
Bus stop: Tianyuan Temple Station or the stop before it. Walk straight down the alley opposite 7-11 for about 18-20 minutes to reach Location 2 - shuiyuan.
If you don't want to walk long after getting off the bus, you can also take a paid shared shuttle bus:
Shuttle bus station address: No. 20, Section 3, Beixin Road, Tamsui District
(A shuttle bus costs NT$50 one way to and from the garden and is marked "Wisteria Shuttle Bus".) Shuttle taxis are available for both directions.

Take a taxi directly from Mangrove Forest(紅樹林)/Tamsui(淡水) Station; the fare is approximately NT$230-270.

Taking a taxi from Tamsui Station is the most convenient and fastest way to get to the garden (there are drop-off areas at the garden entrances).
